Job Description
Pepper Advantage is one of the leading specialist loan servicing companies in the UK and we are currently looking for a Project Manager to join our growing team. You should be based within commuting distance of either Uxbridge, London or Skipton, North Yorkshire.
This role requires a strong individual to lead cross-functional teams to deliver large, complex new client onboarding projects, driving process improvements, and delivering results within tight deadlines and on budget. The ideal candidate should have exceptional leadership and strategic planning skills, with both client and internal stakeholder management experience.
As a Project Manager, your main responsibilities will include:
* Developing and managing detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, and reporting.
* Leading and mentoring cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment with project goals and fostering collaboration.
* Engaging with stakeholders to ensure clear communication and alignment on project objectives.
* Identifying and mitigating potential risks, maintaining risk registers and action trackers.
* Overseeing project budgets, quality standards, and compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
* Continuously evaluating and improving project management processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Essential skills
* Previous experience in a Project Management role
* Experience in consistent delivery of outstanding change and project management outcomes within the mortgage industry
* Robust understanding of relevant regulation and associated legislative policy and the impacts this has on the role, particularly relating to loan and mortgage products
* Ability to develop long-term plans and align projects with business objectives.
* Strong leadership and team management experience
* Excellent analytical, organizational, and negotiation skills, along with the ability to adapt to changing requirements.
* Self reliant and self motivated
* Detail orientated and able to work to tight deadlines.
Additional Information:
This position is a hybrid role and there will be an expectation (following an initial office-based training), of up to three days per week office attendance.
