Facility Maintenance Engineer
Location: Keighley
Contract: Temporary (ASAP – 2 to 3 months, with potential to apply for permanent)
Hours: 39 hours/week: Mon–Thurs 07:00–16:00, Fri 07:00–12:00
Rate: £40K per year
We are seeking a skilled Facility Maintenance Engineer to join a leading luxury retail manufacturer on a temporary basis. This role involves maintaining, installing, and repairing machinery and factory facilities, both electrically and mechanically, to ensure smooth and safe production operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct fault finding, diagnose, and rectify electrical and mechanical faults.
* Deliver preventative maintenance schedules to minimise downtime.
* Support engineering projects and collaborate with the team to meet deadlines.
* Engage with contractors and suppliers to ensure high standards of work.
* Contribute to continuous improvement and lean initiatives.
* Adhere to health & safety policies and statutory requirements.
Requirements:
* Level 3 Electrical or Mechanical Qualification.
* Minimum 3 years’ experience in electrical engineering or similar manufacturing environment.
* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively.
* Flexible approach to duties and working hours as required.
