Responsibilities
As a Cleaning Operative, your primary duties will include:
* Performing routine cleaning tasks to maintain a clean and organised warehouse environment.
* Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors using industrial cleaning equipment to ensure a safe and hygienic workspace.
* Cleaning and sanitising restrooms, break areas, and other communal spaces.
* Emptying bins and disposing of waste in accordance with company policies.
* Monitoring and replenishing cleaning supplies as needed.
* Reporting any maintenance or safety issues to the appropriate personnel.
* Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following:
* Previous experience in a cleaning or janitorial role within the industrial sector.
* Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
* Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
* A proactive attitude and willingness to take on additional tasks as needed.
* Be able to perform physical and manual cleaning tasks for extended periods.

Day-to-Day
Your typical day as a Cleaning Operative will involve:
* Starting your shift promptly at 7:00 am and receiving a briefing on the day's cleaning priorities.
* Carrying out scheduled cleaning tasks across designated areas of the warehouse.
* Ensuring all cleaning equipment is used and stored correctly.
* Completing end-of-shift checks to ensure all tasks are completed to a high standard.
* Logging any issues or incidents with the supervisor before finishing your shift at 7:00 pm.
