Are you an experienced aircraft structure quality inspector looking for your next opportunity in the aerospace sector? Our client, a leading name in aircraft manufacturing and assembly, is seeking multiple quality control and quality assurance inspectors to join their team on an immediate 6-month fixed term contract based in Belfast. About the Role As an aircraft structure quality inspector, you will play a key role in ensuring the highest standards of product quality and regulatory compliance across aircraft structural components. Working within a collaborative team environment, you will: Conduct detailed product inspections and quality control checks on aircraft structures. Verify product compliance with design specifications, customer requirements, and regulatory standards. Provide instruction and support to operators, including monitoring delegated operator activities. Identify and report drawing, process, or tooling anomalies, raising corrective action requests where needed. Write clear, accurate technical reports to support investigations and continuous improvement initiatives. Work flexibly across shifts, including potential 12-hour rotations. Candidate Requirements We are looking for motivated professionals with a strong aerospace background and a passion for quality. The ideal candidate will have: Minimum 12 months' aerospace inspection experience - essential. A recognised apprenticeship plus at least 2 years' relevant post-apprenticeship experience in a manufacturing, assembly, or tooling environment. Proven ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications. Strong communication skills and the ability to provide guidance to production teams. Familiarity with quality control standards, practices, and regulatory requirements in aerospace manufacturing. An HNC or equivalent qualification is desirable, though candidates with significant experience and knowledge will also be considered.
