Overview
The Botanist Marlow are recruiting a Duty Manager. You will balance your time between looking after the Restaurant & Bar department and ensuring outstanding guest experience. You will champion our restaurant & bar knowledge in all team members and proactively develop Future Managers within your team. You will ensure service is speedy and efficient in all departments to maximise covers at all times and maintain an industry-leading guest journey. You are completely responsible for everything within the Bar & Restaurant department, including rosta planning, stock control, consumables ordering, sales driving, team training, and appraisals. Develop incredible Team Coaches and Head Bartenders/Servers who can support you and step into your shoes for your next role. An open mind to learn from other department managers is essential for your next career step.
Responsibilities
* Rota/roster planning for Bar & Restaurant departments
* Stock control and consumables ordering
* Sales driving and guest experience management across all departments
* Team training and performance appraisals
* Develop future managers, Team Coaches, and Head Bartenders/Servers
* Maintain an in-depth knowledge of all departments to support cross-functional learning

Qualifications and requirements
* Experience in restaurant and bar operations with leadership responsibilities
* Strong knowledge of service standards, guest experience, and team development
* Ability to manage rosters, stock, and consumables with a focus on efficiency and guest satisfaction
