Job Description
You’re a Quality Engineer, so you already know that it’s not about ticking boxes.
It’s about understanding why things are done the way they are.
It’s about questioning assumptions, noticing the detail others miss, knowing what matters… and making sure the job gets done properly.
As Quality Engineer, you’ll be part of a small, capable team in a company that’s still evolving. The kind of place where people are working hard to improve systems, raise standards and strengthen the operation. Not perfect, they’ll tell you that themselves. But heading in the right direction and looking for someone who can help shape what ‘better’ looks like.
This isn’t a role for someone who needs time to grow into it. The team’s lean, and they need a Quality Engineer who’s already got that strong technical foundation. Someone from a mechanical or manufacturing background, ideally in metals. Someone who can get stuck in from day one and be effective.
You’ll sit between the Quality Manager and Senior Quality Inspector, no direct reports, but plenty of influence. Especially when it comes to mentoring others supporting the inspection team, engineering, helping pass on what you’ve learnt along the way.
You’ll be the one asking the right questi...
