We are currently recruiting for a number of Cleaner roles within our Domestic Services team. These positions are essential to the smooth running of College life, supporting the daily operations of both Wellington College and the Wellington Health & Fitness Club. From maintaining hygiene in pupil-facing areas to ensuring the cleanliness and presentation of teaching spaces, offices and sports facilities, our Cleaners help create a safe, well-organised and professional environment. Successful candidates will be physically fit, reliable and able to work both independently and as part of a team. Well-developed English language skills—spoken, written and reading—are essential, as the role involves following instructions, communicating with colleagues and responding to operational needs. A flexible and proactive approach is particularly important during busy periods or when supporting weekend cleaning rotas. Previous experience in cleaning roles within schools, offices or sports facilities is welcomed. Familiarity with COSHH regulations, manual handling and safeguarding practices in an educational setting would be advantageous, as would experience using commercial cleaning equipment or working in a boarding school or residential environment.
