Pay rate as a Warehouse Operative:
* Day shift: £13.20 p/h post 12 weeks
* Night Shift: £14.21 p/h post 12 weeks
Typical hours as a Recycling Warehouse Operative:
* Flexible shifts - typically 4 on 4 off, but this cannot be guaranteed
* Day shift: 6AM-6PM
* Night Shift: 6PM-6AM
* Must be available to work weekends.
The Recycling Warehouse Operative role includes:
* Loading plastic food trays onto a conveyor belt, the trays are unloaded at the other end and returned to the suppliers
* Unloading cages and trays from trailers, and taking them to a baling machine, where the cardboard and plastic is then pressed into bales, which come out at the other end
* Feeding materials into a baling machine to compress cardboard and plastic into bales
* You must enjoy physical work as you will be on your feet throughout the shifts.
