Contract Administrator – York

What you'll do:
* Provide efficient administrative support across finance, HR, payroll, and helpdesk functions to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
* Process and maintain accurate payroll, invoice, and financial records, including purchase orders, overtime, and labour data.
* Manage and update compliance documentation, ensuring all records are accurate, complete, and audit-ready.
* Maintain daily activity trackers, action logs, and reporting systems to support operational performance and compliance.
* Coordinate contractor activities, including booking site access, tracking work progress, and maintaining records of completed and remedial work.
* Support supplier management by maintaining compliance documentation and administering PO renewals.
* Liaise with helpdesk teams to manage work orders, documentation, and service requests efficiently.
* Attend and contribute to meetings, supporting effective planning and allocation of work.
* Maintain document control systems, including archiving and retrieval of records.
* Ensure all tasks are delivered in line with company policies, procedures, and contractual requirements.
* Provide professional communication when handling calls, emails, and stakeholder interactions.
What you'll bring:
* Proven administrative experience with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in reporting, compliance, and financial data.
* Excellent IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
* Good understanding of financial processes, including purchase orders, invoicing, and payroll support.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships.
* A proactive and analytical approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
* Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
* Professional, reliable, and customer-focused approach to all tasks.
* Ability to manage confidential information with discretion and integrity.
* (If applicable) Experience within a technical, engineering, or facilities environment.
