Positions Available
Montefiore Medical Center and Albert Einstein College of Medicine are seeking up to two full-time academic psychiatrists for the Inpatient Consultation Liaison Service on the Moses Campus and one full-time academic psychiatrist for the world‑renowned Abdominal Transplant Service.
Responsibilities
* Provide direct patient care and medical‑student and resident consults in an inpatient setting.
* Supervise trainee consults and participate in division and departmental activities.
* Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, pharmacists, nutritionists, and physicians across the Consultation Liaison and Transplant teams.
* Engage in education and training of medical students, psychiatry and neurology residents, fellows, and psychology interns.
* Participate in community outreach and research initiatives focused on social determinants of health and social justice.
Qualifications
* Board certified or eligible in psychiatry.
* Additional training in Consultation Liaison Psychiatry and/or Addiction Psychiatry highly encouraged, but not required.
