Job Description:
At Leonardo we have an exciting opportunity for a PLM Deployment Specialist to join the PLM Technical team. The role involves developing the LEUK Teamcenter instance including integrations to meet specific business needs and is key to the continuing success of the business
The successful applicant will collaborate closely with Core Business, Programme and Integrated Project Teams (IPTs) and provide technical support, troubleshoot issues, and implement PLM strategies to align with overall business goals.
What You’ll Do as a PLM Development Specialist:
As a PLM Development Specialist, your primary focus will be to design and ensure the effective delivery of Teamcenter functionality/capability enhancements into the LEUK core PLM tool.
Your key responsibilities will include:
1. Development:
Develop Teamcenter solutions, including workflows, user interfaces, and data models, to align with business requirements.
2. Troubleshooting and Support:
Diagnose and resolve technical issues, providing ongoing support to users and ensuring system reliability.
3. Configuration:
Configure various Teamcenter modules to support specific business processes.
4. Integration:
Support the integration of other enterprise systems like ERP, CAD, and MES with Teamcenter.
5. Data Management:
Ensure data integrity, including during data migration activities, and security within the Teamcenter environment.
6. Collaboration:
Cross-functional collaboration with engineering, manufacturing, and IT, to deliver against requirements and business goals.
7. Documentation:
Create and maintain documentation for configurations, customizations, and processes.
8. Training and Support:
Train end-users and support engineers in Teamcenter functionality development and best practices.
What We Need from You:
9. Teamcenter Expertise: Strong understanding of Teamcenter architecture, modules, and functionalities.
10. PLM Experience: Understanding of PLM principles and best practice.
11. Programming/Scripting: Proficiency in programming languages e.g. Java, Python, as well as scripting languages used in Teamcenter.
12. Data Management: Experience with data migration and validation.
13. Integration: Experience with Teamcenter integrations with 3rd party enterprise tools.
14. Technical Leadership: Ability to provide technical guidance and leadership to team members.
15. Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues and find solutions.
16. Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with teams and stakeholders.
