Level 3 Nursery Practitioner (Pre‑School) - Glastonbury

Position: Temp‑Perm/Permanent
Pay: £14.66 – £16.00 per hour (dependent on pay type and experience)
Start Date: As soon as possible
Prospero Teaching are working in partnership with a welcoming primary school in Glastonbury to recruit a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join their on‑site pre‑school provision on a permanent basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate early years professional to become part of a supportive school environment that prioritises child development, wellbeing and high‑quality early education.
The Role
* Supporting the delivery of the EYFS framework within the pre‑school setting
* Planning and engaging children in age‑appropriate activities that promote learning and development
* Providing a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment
* Observing, assessing and recording children's progress
* Supporting children's social, emotional and educational development
* Working collaboratively with teaching staff, parents and external professionals
The Ideal Candidate
* Holds a Level 3 qualification in Early Years / Childcare
* Has previous experience working in a nursery or pre‑school setting
* Demonstrates a caring, enthusiastic and childcentred approach
* Has a strong understanding of the EYFS framework
* Is confident supporting children with varied needs and abilities
* Holds (or is willing to apply for) an enhanced DBS on the update service
