Warehouse & Logistics Manager - Newly created role in a hugely established manufacturing company - £35k - £40k & 25 days holiday, pension and more - Birkenhead Overview: How does coming into a newly created leadership role for a UK leader in their sector sound? As we continue to grow on our Birkenhead site, we are looking for a strong leader to come in and manage our warehouse and logistics - a role where we want you to tell us what to do, not the other way around. A chance to use your experience and knowledge and revolutionise this part of our business and see it evolve how you want. This will be part of our senior leadership and where we believe there are a lot of improvements that can be made - you will be given all the support you need but where you can use your expertise to mould a department how you want. The role itself: To set the scene, this has previously sat under different management but as we are getting bigger, evolving and winning more tasty contracts, we now need someone who can manage the warehouse and logistics side of our business, making it better and more efficient. You will have a team underneath you of 4 to manage, but keeping things running as smartly as possible. Introducing new procedures (like barcoding, for example) and working with new couriers to make sure our products get out as efficiently as possible to the UK and around the world. It's all about you: We are open to the person. What we want is a strong leader who can bring some ideas with them and improve our existing infrastructure further, whilst looking to develop themselves as well. This is within manufacturing, but we are open to sector - we want a strong personality who wants to implement change and help our business continue to grow.
