Main duties of the job
* Maintain the highest clinical standards in managing all patients presenting to the hospital
* Provide and support colleagues in managing adult and paediatric patients with ENT conditions
* Develop close links with the ENT team and undertake responsibilities in outpatient ENT clinics
* Teach and train intermediate‑grade staff, junior medical staff, medical students, and ENT nursing staff
* Actively participate in departmental and Trust matters related to clinical governance and audit
* Take responsibility for and actively engage in continuing professional development
Essential application criteria
* Full GMC Registration
* Entry on the GMC Specialist Register via CCT (proposed CCT date within 6 months of interview) or CESR or European Community Rights
* An appropriate higher ENT qualification/Fellowship
* Proven ability to operate independently in Tympanomastoid surgery
* Proven ability to operate independently in Endoscopic sinus surgery
