We’re looking for a talented and driven Junior Sous Chef to join our dynamic kitchen at Brighton i360 - one of the South Coast’s most iconic venues. Working alongside our Head Chef and Sous Chef, you’ll help lead the kitchen team, deliver high-quality dishes, and ensure smooth daily operations across our busy restaurant, bar, and events service.
This is an exciting opportunity for a strong Chef de Partie ready to step up, or a current Junior Sous looking for a new challenge in a fast-paced, high-profile venue.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the Sous and Head Chef in daily kitchen management
* Take the lead during service in the Sous Chef’s absence
* Maintain excellent food quality, presentation, and consistency
* Help with staff training, rota support, and kitchen organisation
* Monitor food safety and hygiene standards
* Assist in developing new menus and specials
What We’re Looking For
* Experience as a Junior Sous Chef or strong CDP in a high-volume kitchen
* Strong leadership, communication, and organisation skills
* Calm, focused and confident under pressure
* Passion for great food and high standards
* Knowledge of allergens, HACCP, and kitchen compliance
