ABC Teachers are currently recruiting for a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant to work on a full-time basis in a Key Stage 2 environment at a primary school in the Lightmoor area of Telford, starting in September 2025.
Salary based on qualifications and experience.
About the role
This role will include the following:
* Providing classroom cover support across all the KS2 classes and covering teachers’ PPA time during the school week.
* Ideal opportunity for ECTs to gain practical experience and develop a strong relationship with a local school.
* This cover is due to begin in September 2025 for an initial period of 4 weeks, with the possibility of extension through to the end of the Autumn Term.

The school is a welcoming two-form entry primary school located in the Lightmoor area of Telford. It has received a positive Ofsted rating and is well-regarded by previous supply staff for its supportive environment and collaborative team culture.
Requirements
To be considered for the role of KS2 HLTA- September- Telford you will:
* Have previous experience working in a Key Stage 2 setting.
* Be confident in leading and supporting classroom activities.
* Show the ability to collaborate effectively with permanent teaching staff.
* Hold an NVQ Level 4 qualification or a degree in education or a relevant subject.
* Be able to provide references from your most recent and relevant educational role.
* Possess or be able to obtain an Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service.
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
* Salary based on daily rate.
