Job Description: Role Overview We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HSEQ Advisor to support Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental performance at our Scunthorpe site. Reporting to the Site Manager, you will help maintain compliance, support ISO systems, and promote a strong safety and quality culture across operations. Key Responsibilities * Support implementation of company-wide H&S policies and procedures. * Carry out site inductions, toolbox talks, and routine inspections. * Monitor PPE usage and assist with safety equipment management. * Assist with accident investigations and ensure corrective actions are followed up. * Maintain accurate safety documentation and records. * Support compliance with key legislation (e.g., PUWER, COSHH, asbestos, and legionella). * Assist in maintaining ISO 9001 and ISO 45001 systems. * Support Type Approval and Conformity of Production (CoP) documentation. * Conduct basic quality inspections and audits as directed. * Promote a positive culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement. * Work collaboratively with production teams and supervisors to identify improvements. * Provide general administrative and technical support to the Site Manager. Experience & Qualifications Essential: * Experience in an HSQE-related role. * Knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 45001 systems. * NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent Level 3 H&S qualification). * Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn. Desirable: * IOSH membership. * Understanding of Type Approval or CoP processes. * Awareness of environmental management systems (ISO 14001). Key Skills & Attributes * Good communicator, approachable, and supportive. * Organised and methodical, with the ability to prioritise workload. * Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word. * Practical, hands-on approach with a commitment to continuous improvement.
