About the Role:
Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Early Years Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Fleetwood. This role involves supporting pupils in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), with a particular focus on children with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with SEN, ensuring their individual learning needs are met.
* Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons tailored to EYFS curriculum.
* Implement personalised strategies and interventions to promote progress and independence.
* Foster a positive, nurturing environment that encourages social and emotional development.
* Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCO, and external professionals to support pupil outcomes.
Requirements:
* Experience working with young children, ideally within EYFS.
* Knowledge of SEN strategies and a passion for supporting children with additional needs.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
* A patient, caring, and proactive approach to learning support.
