Your role
Working within our Sainsbury’s Distribution Centre, the Service Technician will perform maintenance duties to ensure productivity, equipment availability, health & safety compliance, and quality. Your responsibilities include:
1. Maintaining the condition of various installations.
2. Performing malfunction repairs, maintenance, and preventive/predictive maintenance in collaboration with colleagues.
3. Resolving mechanical, electrical, and control technical faults.
What we expect from you
As a Service Technician, you contribute significantly to customer satisfaction by ensuring the continuity of customer processes. We value an enthusiastic, proactive, and flexible attitude. Our expectations include:
* Possession of a City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 or higher in mechanical or electrical maintenance.
* Willingness to work shifts, including nights.
* Experience with maintenance planning.
Note: Due to the nature of the role, you will be subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
Nice to have:
* Experience in FMCG manufacturing or automated environments.
* Experience in training or coaching.
