Job Description
The Distribution Engineering Analyst will support Engineering & Operational activities and projects across Europe. Primary responsibilities include supporting Warehouse execution activities, operational IT changes, operational processes, and inventory analyses.
This position supports our Distribution Operations across 6 warehouses and 4 3PL locations, with a team of over 150 warehouse employees handling more than 2.6 million lines per year.
Key Responsibilities:
* Utilize ERP/WMS systems to analyze and supervise inventory storage and setup across the DC network to ensure efficiency and productivity of supply chain operations.
* Ensure compliance of inventory storage with regulatory requirements and company policies (Chemical, Cold Chain, and consumables).
* Deliver ERP/WMS IT projects to high standards to prevent operational issues during implementation.
* Support and contribute to new DC site developments and CAPEX projects, including warehouse storage design, automation, and MHE selection.
* Manage warehouse operational interfaces appropriately.
* Test all WMS IT changes in line with the deployment schedule.
* Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives using PPI tools.
Key Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
* Experience with ERP/WMS systems (e.g., IBS, SAP, Manhattan, Red Prairie) with strong data analysis skills.
* Strong data analysis and problem-solving abilities.
* Solid understanding of distribution, warehousing, and supply chain activities.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Project, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio).
* Ability to work in a multi-functional European team and willingness to travel (10-20%).
* Proficiency in English; French and/or German are a plus.
* Good interpersonal, communication, and written skills.
* Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
Beneficial Skills
* Experience with Microsoft Access and Power BI.
* SQL database knowledge, including query writing.
* Experience with quality management systems (ISO).
* Continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, PPI, MOST, 5S).
* Project management experience.
* AutoCAD proficiency.
Minimum Requirements / Experience:
* A degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a relevant field, or technical apprenticeship with equivalent training and experience (NVQ, HND, HNC).
* Extensive experience with ERP/WMS systems (e.g., IBS, SAP, Manhattan, Red Prairie).
* Experience managing projects through their full cycle.
