Salary: £50,000 - 56,500 per year Requirements: We are looking for someone with experience leading or mentoring a small IT team. We need strong hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, Azure, and Active Directory / Entra ID. We require a background in IT infrastructure or IT operations, not just service desk support. We want someone comfortable acting as a technical escalation point for more complex issues. We value experience improving processes, service delivery, or operational controls. Some PowerShell or automation experience is required. We are looking for someone who is either already an IT Manager and remains hands-on, or a strong Senior Engineer ready to step into a broader ownership role. Responsibilities: We will expect you to lead and support a small IT team. We will rely on you to take ownership of how IT runs across the business day to day. You will make sure users are supported and core systems operate reliably. You will step in to resolve more complex technical issues. You will shape how we use the Microsoft stack across the business. You will make practical decisions around infrastructure, security, and user access. You will identify opportunities to improve IT processes and implement better ways of working. You will introduce more automation where appropriate. You will improve controls and help ensure tasks such as onboarding, access management, and device management are done consistently. You will work closely with the wider business to ensure IT enables business goals. You will balance the demands of running a smooth current operation while improving it for the future.
