Location: Village Vet Milton
Hours: Full-time or part-time (job share considered)
Salary: From £12.33 per hour (depending on experience)

Village Vet Milton is looking for a warm and welcoming Client Care Assistant (CCA) or a Client Care Team Lead, depending on your experience. What We’re Looking For (Essential Skills & Traits):
* Customer-focused with a natural warmth and welcoming personality
* Excellent communication skills—both in-person and over the phone
* Organised, reliable, and detail-oriented
* Good IT skills (Microsoft Office, email, basic data entry)
* A team player who enjoys a busy, fast-paced environment
* Willingness to work weekends and across shift patterns in a 24/7 hospital
What’s Nice to Have (but Can Be Developed On the Job):
* Previous experience in a veterinary, healthcare, or reception/admin environment
* Leadership or people-management experience
* Experience with practice management systems or CRM tools
* Confidence in handling client complaints or sensitive situations
* Interest in learning about veterinary procedures and terminology

Key Responsibilities:
* Be the first friendly face our clients meet—either on the phone or in person
* Support the clinical team with smooth front-of-house operations
* Help manage diaries, appointments, payments, insurance queries, and day-to-day admin
* Contribute to a calm, efficient, and empathetic client journey
* Support and empower other reception team members (for team lead applicants)
* Promote our Pet Health Club and mobile app
* Maintain accurate client records and help with debt recovery where needed
