Electrical Engineer (HV/MV 11-33kV)
DCS Engineering are partnered with a key player in the UK’s industrial and medical gas supply sector who also manage one of the largest private electrical networks in the country. A degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent relevant experience).
Around 5 years of engineering experience, ideally with high-voltage systems in a process industry environment.
Knowledge of power distribution, large synchronous motors, HV switchgear, transformers, and cable systems.
A proactive approach to safety and a commitment to fostering an inclusive and respectful work culture.
Willingness to travel occasionally within the UK and Ireland as needed.
Help shape strategic engineering direction and ensure alignment with broader business goals.
Oversee asset life cycle processes, including repairs and upgrades, using the EMOC process.
Lead engineering input on multi-disciplinary projects, ensuring quality and regulatory compliance.
Take responsibility for internal electrical standards and offer trusted technical advice.
Salary: £50,000 to £70,000, depending on experience.
