Due to continued growth, our client is looking for a graduate design engineer to join the team at their state‑of‑the‑art facility near Cockermouth. The successful applicant will gain access to a robust training platform, learning the company’s products, processes, standards and customers, and further developing their skills. You will work closely with in‑house engineering, production, design and sales departments to modify existing product designs and tests, as well as playing a key role in new product development and introduction.

Responsibilities
* Providing support and solutions to the engineering and manufacturing team
* Liaising with multiple teams to improve product testing and designs
* Creating designs and specifications to enable the team to manufacture required equipment, meeting industry and company standards
Qualifications
* Keen to develop skills and gain access to excellent training
* Product design or mechanical engineering degree
* Able to commute to Cockermouth
