Technical Manager - North Midlands
As a Technical Manager, you will be responsible for managing the design and technical delivery of residential developments, ensuring that drawings and technical information are accurate, compliant, and delivered on time. You will work closely with internal teams and external consultants to ensure developments are buildable, efficient, and delivered to the high standards expected by Harron Homes.
Key responsibilities
* Manage the technical design process from initial concept through to construction
* Review and coordinate architectural drawings and technical packages
* Ensure all designs comply with Building Regulations, planning requirements, and NHBC standards
* Work closely with architects, engineers, and external consultants
* Support site teams by resolving technical and design queries
* Coordinate drawing information and ensure deadlines are met
* Help maintain design quality and consistency across developments
About you
* Experience in a Technical Manager, Technical Coordinator, or Architectural role within residential development or housebuilding
* Strong technical knowledge of residential construction
* Understanding of Building Regulations and the planning process
* Architectural background or strong experience working with design teams
* Excellent organisation and communication skills
* Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
