Job Overview:
As our In House Trainer, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective training sessions to new and existing staff. This includes induction, competency assessments, mandatory training, and refresher courses. You will play a key role in ensuring our teams are confident, compliant, and equipped to provide outstanding care.
What does the role involve?
* Develop and deliver training programs for all our staff across the company.
* Deliver face-to-face training across multiple sites.
* Facilitate induction programs for new staff.
* Conduct competency assessments and refresher training.
* Deliver mandatory training (e.g., safeguarding, moving and handling, infection control).
* Support staff development through coaching and mentoring.
* Maintain accurate training records and contribute to continuous improvement.
* Ensure training content is up-to-date with current legislation and best practices.
* Utilise public speaking skills to engage participants and enhance learning experiences.
* Assess trainee progress and provide constructive feedback.
* Ensure compliance with care standards and maintain up-to-date knowledge of medical terminology.
· Deliver our induction training programme within our branches located in Southend on Sea, Colchester and Clacton. Therefore, applicants can reside in any of the locations or surrounding areas.
· Ensure the delivery of annual updates and more specialist topics to our existing care staff
* Complete Competency assessment for new and existing staff where relevant and maintain a log for this.
* Support managers and staff with any queries related to training and competency.
Your qualities
· sound knowledge of Health and Social Care and must have a minimum of one years' experience working within the care sector
· certification in moving and handling train the trainer and level 3 award in education and training. (we ca support with this)
· A full driving licence and the use of your own vehicle is essential for this position.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Proven experience in health and social care training.
* Recognised training qualification (e.g., PTLLS, AET, or equivalent).
* Strong knowledge of mandatory care standards and regulations.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
· Passion for empowering others and improving care standards
