About the Account Manager Role:
You’ll be the key point of contact for a portfolio of valued clients, ensuring service excellence and fostering growth through enhanced offerings. You’ll be expected to:
Overachieve revenue and profit targets across key accounts
Identify and win new business opportunities
Develop detailed annual account plans
Manage SLAs and ensure KPIs are met consistently
Build lasting, trusted relationships with customers at all levels
Champion your clients’ needs internally to ensure smooth service delivery
Provide accurate forecasting and commercial insight
Represent the full scope of our client’s logistics and supply chain solutions
What We’re Looking For in this Account Manager role
You’ll be Midlands-based and come equipped with:
A proven background in logistics account management or business development
Excellent negotiation and presentation skills
A proactive and customer-first mindset
Experience with B2B service delivery and cross-functional collaboration
The ability to manage commercial processes, including contracts, KPIs, and budgets
A full clean UK driving licence
You’ll also be someone who thrives on solving problems, identifying opportunities, and isn’t afraid to take the initiative when it comes to delivering results.
