We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated pharmacist who is passionate about patient care and keen to work in a dual role across primary care and community pharmacy. You'll work closely with GPs, the wider clinical team, and pharmacy support staff to deliver high-quality services and contribute to the continuous development of our offering.
You will be supported with resources, mentorship, and opportunities to develop your own ideas to shape and grow the service.
Key Responsibilities
In the GP Practice:
* Conduct structured medication reviews and support chronic disease management
* Provide medicines optimisation and prescribing advice
* Reconcile medications following hospital discharge
* Collaborate with GPs and practice staff to improve prescribing safety and cost-effectiveness
* Contribute to PCN-related activity, QOF, and audits
In the Community Pharmacy:
* Dispense and check prescriptions while delivering excellent customer service
* Provide and grow NHS services such as:
* Pharmacy First
* Blood pressure monitoring
* Vaccinations (flu, COVID, etc.)
* New Medicine Service (NMS)
* Emergency and regular contraception services
* Supervise and support pharmacy staff
* Champion public health campaigns and patient engagement
* Help develop a trusted, local pharmacy at the heart of the community
Who We're Looking For
* GPhC-registered pharmacist
* Ideally with 2 years' experience in community pharmacy, though newly qualified pharmacists are welcome to apply
* An excellent communicator and team player
* Passionate about improving patient care and taking initiative
* Ready to help bridge general practice and community pharmacy in an innovative setting

Job type: Full-time (part-time considered)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 6:00pm (closed 1–2pm for lunch). No weekend working
Location: Must be able to reliably commute to sites in Bicester and Upper Heyford (OX25 5BZ)
