key responsibilities

stripping and refitting vehicle components before and after repair

removing and refitting mechanical, electrical and trim components
*
ensuring all parts are refitted to manufacturer standards

identifying additional damage and reporting to the workshop controller or vda
*
working closely with panel beaters and paint sprayers to meet deadlines
*
maintaining a clean and safe working environment
requirements

previous experience as a met technician within an accident repair centre or bodyshop
*
good knowledge of vehicle systems and components
*
ability to follow manufacturer repair methods
*
strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship

ability to work independently and as part of a team
