What Can You Expect?
As an Engineer Apprentice, you will work in a supportive team, combining hands‑on experience with classroom learning to achieve an NVQ Level 3 qualification – essential for a career as a Lift and Escalator Engineer. Your training is fully supported by OTIS and our trusted apprenticeship provider.
Once qualified as a Service Lift Engineer, you will manage a regular route, performing routine service visits and repairs, diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults, and keeping customers informed about the status of their equipment.
Responsibilities
* Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults on lifts and escalators.
* Conduct routine service visits, ensuring equipment meets safety and performance standards.
* Communicate with customers about service status and any required repairs.
* Maintain accurate records of service activities and equipment condition.
Qualifications
* 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grade C / Grade 4 or above, including Maths, English, and a STEM subject.
* A willingness to attend and complete all required training throughout the apprenticeship.
* Own a laptop to complete coursework and training.

* Year 1: £16,416
* Year 2: £21,888
* Year 3: £30,096
