You will be working in the Technology & Sustainability Enabling Function, in where we harness digital transformation and innovation to meet ambitious climate goals and deliver sustainable solutions for our customers.
We are currently looking for an IT Commercial & Cost Controller who will take ownership of managing and optimising all IT-related costs, ensuring they are effectively controlled, challenged, and aligned with business objectives. You will identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements, contributing to operational excellence across the organisation.
As the IT Commercial & Cost Controller, you will:
Support with the preparation of the IT department's forecasting and budgeting cycle, working closely with IT budget holders and the Head of IT Management.
Monitor and control IT expenditures, payment performance and order management, ensuring compliance with budgetary constraints and financial policies.
Manage and track IT cost challenge activities and identify opportunities,
Conduct financial analysis and provide regular reports on IT spending, cost optimisation, and cost-saving opportunities.
Administer vendor contracts, monitor contract performance and ensure compliance with contractual obligations working with the Vendor & Contract Manager and relevant stakeholders.
We are looking for:
A strong track record in Commercial\Financial Governance, with proven experience in procurement and commercial operations.
Demonstratable success in achieving measurable business results via commercial initiatives.
Solid understanding of financial management principles, budgeting, and cost control.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Demonstrable organisational skills and the ability to work as a team player.
