Job Overview
We are looking for a patient, calm, motivated and enthusiastic support worker to join the Breast Care Nursing Team in the Helen Clark Suite. The post holder will undertake a variety of duties including the coordination of breast prosthesis fitting clinics and undertaking photography clinics for pre‑ and post‑operative patients. The role includes stock management for the department, supporting the reception team as required and being a point of contact for patients contacting the team in support of the breast care nurses.
Responsibilities
* Coordinate breast prosthesis fitting clinics.
* Undertake photography clinics for pre‑ and post‑operative patients.
* Stock management for the department.
* Support the reception team as required.
* Act as a point of contact for patients contacting the team.
* Work under indirect supervision of the Clinical Nurse Specialist and collaborate with Breast Care Team and multi‑professional staff.
Qualifications
A Care Certificate is required for the role but can be undertaken as part of the Induction process. Having knowledge of Lorenzo, ICE, Evolve and Excel is a benefit, but you will be fully supported in your on‑going learning and development.
