AI Engineer
Location: London (Onsite - 5 days per week)

Salary: £200,000 + generous equity package
Interview Process: 2-4 stages
I'm hiring for two YC-backed startups building foundational AI infrastructure - one focused on advancing reasoning capabilities, the other on streamlining how teams deploy and monitor models in production.
What we're looking for:
* Strong academic background in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field
* Founding engineer mindset with ownership mentality
* Series A-C scale-up experience (ideally in fast-growth environments)
Role 1: AI Engineer
* Expert-level Python with exposure to frontend technologies (TypeScript/React preferred)
* Hands-on experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, and evaluation frameworks
* Ability to ship AI-powered features end-to-end
* Minimum 3 years of experience
Role 2: Applied AI Engineer
* Strong backend engineering experience (Python preferred)
* Deep knowledge of CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and Git workflows
* Experience building RAG pipelines and AI agent orchestration systems
* Minimum 5 years of experience
