Electrical Maintenance Engineer Tredegar, South Wales Shift pattern: 4 on 4 offYolk Recruitment are exclusively supporting a leading manufacturing business in South Wales to recruit an Electrical Maintenance Engineer for their high-volume production site near Tredegar. This is an excellent opportunity for a time-served, multi-skilled engineer to join a stable, growing business and play a key role in keeping a modern facility running efficiently.This is what you'll be doing.As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you'll be part of the site Engineering team, reporting into the Engineering Management structure. You will:Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on production equipment and site servicesDiagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical faults to minimise downtime and maintain production efficiencyAccurately complete maintenance documentation, service reports and update maintenance systemsSupport continuous improvement activities and contribute technical ideas to improve reliability and performanceEnsure all work is carried out in line with Health & Safety and environmental legislation and company proceduresWork closely with production, engineering and external contractors to ensure safe, efficient operation of the plantHelp to maintain key services such as electricity and compressed air and ensure they meet operational requirementsThe experience you'll bring to the team.You'll be a practical, hands-on engineer with a strong electrical background and experience in a fast-moving manufacturing environment.Time-served multi-skilled engineer with a BTEC Level 3 (or equivalent) in electrical engineeringProven experience in planned and reactive maintenance within a manufacturing / industrial environmentStrong electrical fault-finding and problem-solving skills on low voltage panels, drives and invertersConfident communicator, able to work effectively with colleagues at all levelsAnd this is what you'll get in return.Permanent role with an established manufacturing business with a great financial backing.Opportunity to work on a variety of equipment in a modern, high-volume plantSupportive Engineering team with a focus on safety, reliability and continuous improvementOngoing training and development opportunitiesSalary of circa £48,000Are you up to the challenge?
