We're looking for an experienced audit professional to join us as an Audit Director. In this senior role, you'll lead a portfolio of audits across a diverse mix of public organisations, central and local government bodies, and for-profit organisations that serve the public interest. There is also a role in our Wellington office.
What you'll do:
* Make a meaningful impact by providing insights that go beyond the financials and help improve public services.
* Build and manage strong relationships with senior leaders across the public sector.
* Champion the development of our people by coaching and mentoring team members to grow their skills and careers.
* Support and strengthen our relationships with Māori by contributing to how we implement our te ao Māori strategy, Kia Tika, and building capability within your team to do the same.
* Sign audit reports on behalf of the Auditor-General under the requirements of the Public Audit Act 2001.
Whether you're already an Audit Director or Partner, or an experienced Audit Manager ready for the next step, you'll bring:

You must be a Chartered Accountant (or hold an equivalent overseas qualification recognised by the Auditor-General).
