Our client, a global leader in experience design, placemaking and heritage planning, is seeking a Project Manager to join its creative teams delivering high-profile projects across the UK, Ireland and internationally. This role is suited to a Project Manager with around four years’ experience who is looking to grow and develop within a collaborative and creative environment.
Based primarily in Leicester, the role offers a flexible hybrid working model, combining office, remote and on-site work. The successful candidate will support projects from bid stage through to design and delivery, working closely with Senior Project Managers, technical leads, in-house designers and external consultants.
Job Role:
1. Manage projects across bidding, design and delivery stages, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget and to a high standard
2. Act as a link between creative, technical and delivery teams under the guidance of senior leadership
3. Support project planning, scheduling, budgeting and resource coordination
4. Manage internal teams and coordinate input from external consultants and subconsultants
5. Contribute to bid and fee development, including budgets, work programmes and methodologies
6. Ensure projects comply with contractual, legislative and statutory requirements
7. Support client, stakeholder and site-based coordination, including attendance at meetings as required
Skills and Experience
8. Around 4 years’ experience in project management or project coordination, managing multiple projects of varying scale
9. Strong understanding of budgeting, scheduling, resourcing and project delivery methodologies
10. Experience working within structured design processes, including RIBA stages
11. Knowledge of procurement, contracts and delivery frameworks (including JCT and NEC)
12. Awareness of Health & Safety, CDM, Building Regulations, sustainability and accessibility standards
13. Understanding of heritage, museum or cultural sector funding processes (e.g. NLHF, Fáilte Ireland, Arts Council)
14. Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel and MS Project
15. Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
16. Highly organised, detail-focused and able to manage deadlines and competing priorities
17. Proactive, adaptable and keen to develop new skills
18. Willingness to travel and work on-site as required, with a full driving licence and passport
