This role is starting in September 2025, ideal for individuals who are enthusiastic about education and confident in their ability to manage and motivate pupils in a classroom setting. About the Role: As a Cover Supervisor (CS), you will step into classes to supervise learning during teacher absences, ensuring continuity and a calm, engaging environment. You won’t be expected to plan lessons, but you will be delivering materials set by the regular teacher and keeping pupils on track. Key Responsibilities: Deliver pre-set lessons across a variety of primary subjects. Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies. Support pupils to stay engaged and complete learning tasks. Provide feedback to teaching staff on pupil progress and behaviour. Maintain a positive, safe, and productive learning environment. Job Requirements: Prior experience working in a primary school setting is highly desirable. Confident classroom management and strong communication skills. A flexible and adaptable approach to teaching and supervision. A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning. A relevant degree or equivalent experience is advantageous.
