Edge Transport are looking to recruit a *HGV Class 2 Driver *to join our busy local haulage team.
45 contracted hours per week. Hours are managed over the reference period and any excess hours will be paid at the standard rate .
You'll be driving one of our well maintained vehicles, all of which are under 5 years old.

Applicants *must hold a HGV Class 2 licence *(with no more than 3 points) and have more than *1 years Class 2 driving experience *as well as a *full CPC *in order to apply for this role. Ongoing CPC training will be provided.
*Duties overview:*
* Completion of regular vehicle, loading and safety checks.
* Delivering to businesses and private addresses.
* Acting professionally and safely at all times whilst out on the road representing Edge.
* Achieve target fuel efficiency and manifest route timescales.
* Maintain a safe and clean working environment – on the road and within the warehouse.
* Keeping allocated vehicle clean.
* Act responsibly to ensure food product quality, safety, and legality.
* Report any issues of damage, defects, near misses and non-conformances.
* Ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and on time.
* Adhere to all traffic laws and Tachograph regulations.
