Position: Operation Support Officer (Security)

Shift hours: 07:00 - 19:00
Shift pattern: 4 on 4 off
SNSG is recruiting for a Operation Support Officer to work in Control and Communication centre.
The control and communications centre and operation support is the heart beat of the business, officers must work closely with contract managers as well as the administration team. A control and communications officer/operational support officer are the first point of call for employees and clients alike. An aptitude for problem solving and a drive for value added service is an essential commodity for this role.
Responsibilities
To be committed to SNSG mission and ethics and at all times support the company to deliver a professional service delivery.
The post holder must have a totally flexible approach to work and be willing to perform tasks that are outside the parameters of this Job Description. When representing the Company to be impeccably dressed at all times and be able to approach all tasks and situations with integrity and honesty and to build trust with all you come into contact with.
· To assist the contracts managers to maintain the effective and efficient 24-hour 7 day a week operation of the business
· To operate and control the Deployment Management System and monitor the deployment of staff.
· To ensure that all checks as to the appropriateness of all licensed frontline staff to perform their duties.
· To ensure that all information being passed from the Deployment Management System to the accounts department is correct.
· To be a liaison between the company, its departments, site management, and security personnel to ensure continued professionalism.
· Be in possession of a SIA frontline licence to perform security duties.
· To deal directly with customer concerns on own initiative or at the direction of your line Management.
· Identify trends in complaints, incidents and non-conformities to identify improvements.
· To actively promote the business as 'a preferred security partner of choice'.
· To ensure the security of all documents and IT within Head Office
· To ensure that all environmental policies are maintained and that all waste is disposed of within company guidelines
· To attend planning and management meetings as required
Key Skills and Experience
· Have a sound understanding of the role of security professionals and SIA ACS companies
· Be in possession of a current SIA License (Desirable)
· Be able to communicate competently both verbally and in writing at all levels of an organization
· Excellent organizational skills
· Be able to work to tight deadlines
Knowledge Requirements
· To understand an office environment and management roles
· Be able to direct staff effectively
· Understand office IT and systems
· Be able to manage multiple tasks
This position is subject to BS7858 where you must be able to provide evidence of 5-year employment/education history and references in a timely manner upon request.
