About The Role: Maintenance Operative
Reporting to the Venue Manager and Group Maintenance Manager, this on-site, sole maintenance role, is responsible for the day to day maintenance of this luxury wedding venue.
To be considered for the role, you will require:
- Prior hotel maintenance experience within a venue/hotel.
- Often working alone, managing all basic maintenance works within the venue.
- Supervise contractors whilst on site where required, ensuring their H&S compliance with our procedures.
- Confident with all aspects of the Hotels Maintenance administration, particularly with regards to Health & Safety, Fire.
- Good all-around knowledge of Plumbing/Carpentry/Wall Tiling/Decorating skills, to keep the venue looking immaculate and in working condition.
- Experience of managing a maintenance budget & know how to establish an on-site maintenance function from scratch.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to respond to call-outs.
- Keen attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of presentation and functionality.
- Have own transport and be willing to support other Group venues occasionally.
- Experience in managing external compliance audits.
- Performing water temperature checks and Legionella prevention activities.
