Description NOV Gateshead is seeking a Customer Account Coordinator. This role supports revenue growth and customer retention by owning day-to-day account service: managing orders and quotes, coordinating with internal teams (Sales, Supply Chain, Product line), and ensuring an excellent customer experience from inquiry to invoice. Key Responsibilities Account Ownership Act as the primary point of contact for an assigned customer portfolio. Manage inbound inquiries (email/phone/CRM) and route opportunities to the right sales owner. Quoting & Order Management Prepare and issue quotations (pricing, lead time, terms) using CRM. Convert POs to sales orders; validate part numbers, pricing, and Incoterms. Track quotes and orders end-to-end; provide proactive status updates and expedite when needed. Sales Support & Upsell Identify cross-sell/upsell opportunities from assigned customer base. Schedule reviews with Account Managers; prepare meeting packs and follow-up actions. Data & Reporting Keep CRM data accurate (contacts, pricing, forecasts, close dates). Produce monthly reports: open quotes, backlog, orders for assigned customers. Compliance & Documentation Ensure compliance with company policies, customer terms, and (if applicable) ISO/QMS requirements. Continuous Improvement Capture voice-of-customer insights; propose process improvements to reduce cycle time. Skills & Qualifications Experience in account coordination, inside sales, or customer service (B2B preferred) Strong written/verbal communication; confident with customer calls and escalations Proficiency with CRM e.g. Microsoft Dynamics is a plus Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities Problem-solving mindset; diplomatically handles pressure and conflicting priorities Education NVQ 3 or equivalent experience; customer service/account management certifications (desirable)
