We have an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Assistant Apprentice. You will proactively support the Marketing Executive in reaching the company's marketing goals and objectives. Scarab requires a self-driven, ambitious person to who will be given the opportunity to help us expand our in-house marketing capabilities.

Hours Monday – Friday, working on a flexi basis.

Work

Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.


What you'll do at work

Scarab has ambitious plans for its short- and long-term development and we need to ensure these developments and successes in the business reach our customers and potential customers effectively. The role may encompass everything from digital marketing, event organisation and product launches to market research. The role offers an excellent opportunity to gain a wide range of experience from marketing, project management, sales and product management within a company that operates worldwide. Your duties will include:

* Maintaining and creating engaging content – including video - for the company’s website and social media platforms.
* Support various departments on campaigns for products and services – including new product launches.
* Analyse and report on success of campaigns and marketing actions.
* Write and proofread copy for press releases, industry magazine articles, etc.
* SEO optimisation to increase traffic to website.
* Coordinate with other Fayat Group companies on group marketing objectives.
* Ensure deadlines are met and budgets used effectively.
* Assist with, and develop content for, events and exhibitions.
* Identify region specify strategies for marketing of products and services worldwide.
* Assist with market analysis of Scarab’s products and service in the industry, to identify opportunities for growth and product development.
* Participate at domestic and international marketing events such as seminars, trade shows and promotional events.
* Focus primarily on the UK commercial market.


Where you'll work


Training

Apprenticeships include time away from working for specialist training. You’ll study to gain professional knowledge and skills.

* Develop or interpret briefs for external or internal stakeholders and measure delivery in-line with the specification and agreed timelines
* Plan and coordinate a marketing activity using marketing tactics to acquire and retain one or more customer segments using available resources.
* Contribute to the generation of innovative and creative approaches across video, images, and other formats, both online and offline, to support campaign development.
* Use research/survey software to gather audience insight and/or evaluation to support the project.
* Use copywriting techniques to write persuasive text/copy to meet a communications objective ensuring it is in-line with organisational brand guidelines.
* Build and implement multi-channel campaigns across a variety of platforms, either offline or digital media.
* Proofread marketing copy ensuring it is accurate, persuasive and is on brand.
* Use software to design and create marketing assets to meet the technical specification.
* Contribute to the research of external suppliers to support recommendations and procurement of marketing goods and services.
* Organise offline and digital assets ensuring they are co-ordinated and legally compliant.
* Use a website content management system to publish text, images, and video/animated content.
* Create and maintain spreadsheets to support marketing activities such as project/budget planning and organisation of marketing assets.
* Use technology and software packages to support day to day activities, e.g., stakeholder communications, development of briefs, data analysis, report writing, presentations and project management.
* Identify and use data and technologies to achieve marketing objectives.
* Monitor and amend campaigns to meet budget requirements including time and monetary costs.
* Review campaigns regularly to ensure effectiveness, to optimise the results.
* Measure and evaluate campaign delivery to identify areas for improvement.
* Use data analysis tools to record, interpret and analyse customer or campaign data.

Your training plan

Our Multi-Channel Marketer apprenticeship programme offers a flexible and customisable delivery model that combines on-site and remote training and support. Learners will work closely with a dedicated assessor who will provide regular support through monthly remote visits and scheduled face-to-face meetings as needed. We also offer a purely remote delivery option that includes online learning materials, virtual classrooms, and regular remote support from the assessor.

Throughout the apprenticeship, learners will have access to a variety of learning resources and ongoing support from our experienced trainers. Our goal is to help learners build the knowledge, skills, and confidence they need to excel in their role as a multi-channel marketer and make a valuable contribution to their employer's business goals.
