Job overview An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Oncology Specialty Doctor to join the Oncology team at The Royal Surrey Cancer Centre at the Royal Surrey Hospital (RSH) for a fixed period of 6 months starting March - September 2026. You will be joining our team of 29 oncologists, supported by a team of Specialist Registrars, Specialty Doctors, SHOs, AHP’s and Specialist Nurses. The successful applicant will be based at the RSH in Guildford providing a high level of medical care to the Oncology patients in the outpatient clinics. The job plan will involve travelling to our local outreach partner oncology sites to provide clinic cover, as well as working on the Guildford site. Advert This post is aimed at a senior Oncology doctor who has experience in Oncology practice in a range of tumour sites. The objective of the role would be to address clinic demands and to provide oncology expertise in both Clinical and Medical Oncology in the management and treatment of solid tumour sites. This post will have some fixed clinics in the timetable, plus some flexible sessions with set tumour groups. This is a 10PA post the role will require good MDT working within Oncology, as well as with the wider trust to ensure the oncology patients receive a high quality of medical care.
