Overview
Join to apply for the Logistics Management Graduate Programme 2026 role at Next.
Be Brave. Be You. Be NEXT. At NEXT, not only are we one of the UK’s largest fashion retailers, but we’re also one of the largest listed companies. We’re growing, with a distribution network that handles 350 million units a year and over 8 million online customers in 135 countries. We are looking for talented, dynamic and creative people to join us on the next step of this exciting journey and beyond.
What you will do
We are looking for the next generation of leaders within our distribution network as our Logistics Management Graduate programme returns for 2026. The Graduate programme will introduce you to the opportunities a career at NEXT has to offer. You will be immersed in the world of NEXT and our partner brands, from Picking to Projects. You will spend time in our warehousing complexes across South and West Yorkshire, learning about all things NEXT Distribution. During the 2 year programme you will be based at South Elmsall (Pontefract) or Dearne Valley (Rotherham) and rotate through placements and masterclasses in various areas of the business, whilst undertaking a bespoke mentoring course. You will also spend time at our Head Office in Leicester with our Customer Service teams and stores to learn more about our entire network.
As a Logistics Management Graduate, you will benefit from regular catch-ups with your dedicated Mentor, a structured programme covering key topics to support your journey within NEXT, and midpoint assessments every three months to review progress against a set of competencies designed for the two-year programme. The aim is that you progress into a position as one of our Assistant site Managers or a similar level role after completing the programme.
About you
The title of your degree doesn’t matter; what’s important is that you are on track for a 2.1 or have a 2:1 completed in the last 3 years and you are enthusiastic to begin a career within logistics. You should be located or relocating to a commutable distance of our South Elmsall or Rotherham sites and have a driving licence to visit locations around the UK. You will need to be happy to work any shift pattern as you experience different areas of the business.
As a confident communicator, you will be comfortable building relationships with colleagues at all levels across the business. You will enjoy decision making, critical thinking and problem solving, and be keen to apply your university skills in the workplace.
In accordance with Home Office guidance, successful candidates will be required to evidence their right to work in the UK before commencement of employment. We do not sponsor under the Skilled Worker route for this role; candidates must demonstrate the right to work without NEXT sponsorship.
