Pharmacy Assistant – Dispenser – Camberley (Surrey Area)
Day Lewis are seeking a part‑time Pharmacy Assistant – Dispenser to join our team at our busy Camberley pharmacy. This is an excellent opportunity to begin or develop your career within Medicine and Clinical Care.
Hours of Work
* Monday: 5:00pm – 9:00pm
* Tuesday to Friday: 4:00pm – 9:00pm
* Total: 23 hours per week
About the Role
As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the Pharmacist and wider team to deliver safe, efficient and patient‑focused services.
Responsibilities
* Supporting the dispensary team in the preparation and supply of medicines
* Assisting the Pharmacist in delivering advanced and enhanced services
* Providing excellent customer service at the counter and over the phone
* Building strong relationships with patients and healthcare professionals
* Ensuring all tasks are carried out in line with company policies and procedures
* Contributing to the smooth and effective running of the pharmacy
Training & Development
* Full induction and training programme provided
* Pharmacy Assistant course (if required), typically completed within 3–6 months
* Ongoing support to develop your knowledge and skills
* Support for progression into Pharmacy Technician roles, including access to recognised qualifications such as BTEC Level 3 Diploma – Principles and Practice for Pharmacy Technicians
