We are seeking a Band 7 Registered Nurse with a passion for relationship‑centred dementia care to lead and develop a Young Onset Dementia service in partnership with Dementia UK in Surrey Heath, Farnham and North East Hampshire. This is a rare opportunity to provide specialist support to individuals and families navigating the challenges of young onset dementia.
Role:Young Onset Dementia Admiral Nurse (Dementia Specialist)
Hours:22.5 hours, part time role
Location:Surrey Heath and borders
Grade:Band 7
As an Admiral Nurse, you will be a dementia specialist delivering tailored support, practical solutions and guidance for people living with dementia and their families. You will also champion best practice and provide role modelling within your geographical area.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage, develop and evaluate the Young Onset Dementia Admiral Nurse service
* Deliver and coordinate relationship‑centred dementia care, managing a clinical caseload
* Lead initiatives that enhance the care experience for people living with young onset dementia and their families, from diagnosis through to end of life care
