Who You Are We are looking for an experienced professional who has previously worked within a unitary authority as a Section 151 officer. You are adaptable with a flexible approach to office presence, able to be on-site in Plymouth as required. This role is a short-term assignment, ideally lasting between 3 to 6 months, with the possibility of transitioning into a permanent position. What the Job Involves This position requires you to assume responsibilities as the Section 151 officer without needing to delegate those duties internally. You will have a significant role in the financial management and oversight within the authority. Engaging with the Chief Executive (CEX) during initial discussions will be essential to gauge fit and expectations.
