Position Summary
AsSeniorEngineering Technicianyou will provide a comprehensive and professional engineering support service for theSterileValue Streamto meet the business & regulatory needs of the department, with responsibility for all engineering activities associated with the production process.
Responsibilities
This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following:
1. Work with, operate, and support a range of equipment and technologies within the sterile manufacturing and filling value stream in a shift-based environment (24/5 or 24/7).
2. Lead and supervise the Engineering Technician teamto meet production and maintenance needs, acting as stand-in for the Engineering Team Manager.
3. Act as first point of escalation for equipment breakdowns, building services issues, and hands-on technical support.
4. Plan, prioritise, and communicate engineering activities, including shift handovers, Tier meetings,shutdowns,and maintenance scheduling via MERPS.
5. Ensure GMP, EHS, and quality compliance through documentation, deviations, change controls, audits, and contractor supervision.
6. Drive continuous improvement, equipment upgrades, data accuracy (SAP/MERPS), training compliance, and support for projects and new product introductions.

Basic Qualification
We are seeking professionals with the following required skills and qualifications to help us achieve our goals:
7. Minimum of an HNC level qualification in an Engineering discipline
8. An Industry recognised Engineering apprenticeship
9. Significant post-apprenticeship industry experience
10. Hands on experience of GSK processes and procedures
11. Demonstrable experience working with cross functional teams in a complex organisation.
Preferred Qualification
If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:
12. Experience working in classified areas such as ISO 5 or ISO 7.
13. Demonstrable experience in a leadership,trainingandteam support functions.
14. Experience working as a subject matter expect.
15. Hands on experience of engineering project management.
