Job Description:
We are working with a leading Silver Circle law firm to hire a Risk Paralegal in London. In this role, you’ll support the Risk team in maintaining the firm’s compliance with legal and regulatory standards, working across a diverse range of matters from conduct issues and data breaches to professional indemnity and client due diligence. This is an exciting opportunity for a law graduate with a strong interest in risk and compliance to gain hands-on experience at a top-tier firm.
The firm is looking for a motivated and highly organised individual with a law degree, who is confident working across multiple tasks and engaging with senior stakeholders. This role is well-suited to someone seeking a long-term legal career, with a clear route to qualification available through either the Training Programme or the SQE/QWE pathway.
The responsibilities will include:
* Supporting risk and compliance projects and initiatives
* Handling internal queries on professional conduct and regulatory matters
* Assisting with data subject requests and completion of client due diligence questionnaires
* Providing support on professional indemnity matters to the Director of Risk
* Conducting legal and compliance research
* Contributing to the delivery of firm-wide risk training and guidance
They are looking for candidates with excellent communication and drafting skills, great attention to detail, and a proactive, team-focused approach. Confidence in managing multiple priorities and the ability to work independently are also key to success in this role.
