Key Responsibilities
* Designing and validating reactor cores using deterministic and stochastic methods
* Supporting the manufacture of reactor cores
* Designing experiments and conducting measurements at our critical benchmarking facility
* Supporting onboard tests and trials for the UK submarine fleet
* Collaborating with industry partners, civil nuclear, and academia
* Researching and developing new methods to enhance reactor physics and operational capabilities
Candidate Profile
We seek candidates who:
* Hold a relevant degree (undergraduate, master's, or PhD) in engineering, physics, or related scientific fields
* Have experience in reactor physics or the nuclear industry
* Possess strong analytical, critical thinking, and communication skills
* Are eager to learn and collaborate
